Entering the castle

You will enter Odawara Castle by chartered car.
There, you will be welcomed by our kimono-clad staff members.
Odawara Castle was once the center of power for a large part of central Japan, including present day Tokyo. The Hojo Clan ruled from there during the Sengoku Jidai (lit. “Warring States period”) of Japanese history. Odawara Castle is the closest castle to Tokyo and is the site of many monumental battles between famous historical Japanese figures.

Odawara is easily accessible from central Tokyo, taking about 30 minutes by Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo Station. The Hakone and Yugawara hot springs are located nearby.
